The Triangle-based telephone system suppliers have been hosting VoIP telephone systems to businesses across North Carolina since 2003. The VoIP telephone system provides telephoning as a service over private voice networks, thereby eliminating the need to purchase fixed telephone systems that are premise based and much more expensive.
Cloud-based telephone systems really took off in 2010, as many businesses realized the money saving potential of this telephone system over the traditional hard wired telephones.
